Flow-through process

CTi’s innovative system is highly scalable, ranging from 14 gallons per minute (GPM) to 50 GPM, making it adaptable for a wide range of applications. By harnessing the power of cold, non-equilibrium discharge generated by plasma, CTi’s technology can be effectively implemented in various contexts, including:

  • Agriculture

  • Textile wastewaters

  • High precision electronics

  • Water remediation in wineries

  • Purified water consumption

Advanced water treatment

Plasma Activated Water

All these sources are characterized by high levels of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and complex mixtures of constituents. For example, our technology extends its impact to the agricultural ecosystem by enhancing crop growth through the control of microorganism development, thus accelerating vegetative and root growth, resulting in increased plant height, more robust seedlings, and greater biomass. Furthermore, the shelf-life of harvested fruits and vegetables may be extended by irrigating the crops with Hydro-Plasma Water.

Plasma/cavitation water treatment systems

Cavitation plasma reactor combines cavitation with cold, non-equilibrium discharge generated by plasma to produce reactive agents such as hydroxyl radicals (OH) and hydrogen (H2).

These agents are highly efficient at breaking down both organic and inorganic compounds, including bacteria and viruses.

H2 (Hydrogen) Nanobubbles are nanoscopic gaseous (plasma dissolved Hydrogen) cavities in aqueous solutions that have the ability to change the normal characteristics of water. Ordinary bubbles have a diameter which range from 1 µm and larger. These quickly rise to the surface of a liquid and collapse. Plasma Nanobubbles which are <100 nm in diameter will randomly drift owing to what is termed, Brownian Motion and can remain in liquids for an extended period of time.

EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS

Real nanobubbles cannot be seen with the naked eye.
Their existence can be demonstrated by laser scattering.
The figure below (right) shows a green laser passing through
a jar of pristine distilled water. As you can observe the laser
beam is almost invisible in the pristine distilled water.

The figure below (left) shows the same laser beam passing
through the same distilled water after using our proprietary
nanobubbler delivers an industry-leading oxygen transfer
efficiency (OTE) of over 85% per foot of water.
